Signing of Cooperation Implementation between Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology, University of Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah

The cooperation implementation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering UNY and the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah was held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

The signing of the collaboration was attended by Dr. Muhammad Yusri Ismail (UMPSA Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Mutiara Nugraheni, S.TP., M.Si (Dean of FT UNY), Dr. Drs. Totok Heru Tri Maryadi M.Pd. (Vice Dean III FT UNY), all lecturers and student representatives of the Automotive Education Department of the Faculty of Engineering UNY. The implementation of this collaboration aims to follow up on the previous cooperation agreement agreed by both parties.

The implementation of the collaboration carried out in 2024 is a visiting professor activity carried out in the automotive engineering education study program. Visiting professor activities are carried out in the even semester of 2023/2024 in the Diesel Motor Technology course. This visiting professor activity is expected to improve academic experience for students and faculty members while fostering a spirit of innovation and excellence in engineering education. This activity can also broaden students' insights into the development of engineering education and research on a global scale. In addition to visiting professor activities, both parties also agreed to carry out joint publications this year.

To ensure the success and effectiveness of the collaboration, a robust evaluation and progress monitoring system will be implemented. By monitoring key performance indicators and feedback from stakeholders, both faculties can make informed decisions, address any issues promptly, and continuously improve collaborative efforts. This evaluation and monitoring process will help strengthen the partnership between FT UNY and UMPSA, thus fostering a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship for years to come.
